Venado Construction is an owner-led residential general contractor based in Colleyville. Clint Hart has been building and remodeling homes in this part of the Metroplex since 1999, and he still runs the projects himself.
That combination is the point. Venado has the experience and the trade relationships to take on a structural renovation or a full addition — and it's small enough that the person who walked your house is the person answering the phone three months later.
Projects come in different sizes here. A single bathroom done properly is real work, and it gets the same attention as a whole-home remodel.

Alongside remodeling and outdoor living, Venado builds complete custom homes — foundation and framing through cabinetry, tile, trim and the final walkthrough.

A phone call or email to understand what you're considering, where the house is, and whether we're the right fit.

Site visit
Clint walks the house with you, looks at what's behind the plan, and talks through what's realistic.

Scope and planning
We define the work in detail — including the structural and mechanical items that never show up in inspiration photos.

Proposal
A written proposal with real numbers and a realistic schedule, so you can make a decision with actual information.

Construction
Trades sequenced properly, the site kept in order, and regular updates as the work moves.
- 06
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished work together, handle the punch list, and close the project out cleanly.

Owner-Led
Clint Hart leads every Venado project.
Clint Hart founded Venado Construction in 1999 and has led it since. His approach is practical and relationship-first: understand the house, be honest about what the work involves, and stay reachable from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
In practice that means the person evaluating your project is the person responsible for it. Decisions get made on site rather than routed through layers, and the homeowner always knows who to call.
